LED welcome screen at Germany's largest campsite

On the Grav-Insel near Wesel – with around 2.4 million m² and over 2,000 pitches the largest campsite in Germany – WALED Videowalls integrated an outdoor LED wall from the Signature series directly into the gable façade of the reception building. Measuring 4.80 m wide × 2.24 m high with a 6.67 mm pixel pitch, it delivers a large-format, ultra-bright yet highly energy-efficient image. As a welcome and information screen, it greets thousands of guests every day: from a personal welcome message to date, time and event notices and brilliant visual content – clearly legible even in daylight. The installation shows our team's full craftsmanship: the fully pre-assembled screen was lifted off the low-loader by crane, then aligned and calibrated to the millimetre on the façade from the aerial work platform. Weatherproof, bright and high in contrast, the system blends into the striking Inselshop building and turns the recreation centre's reception into the first eye-catcher for every arriving camper.

Transparent Curtain-Z on the Ois Easy stage – marquees & festivals

Ois Easy is one of Bavaria's busiest party bands – festival marquees, Volksfeste, traditional evenings, private events: where Ois Easy plays, the vibe is guaranteed. For their new tour show, a WALED Curtain-Z was added to the rig: a transparent LED wall that drenches the stage in saturated colour and motion content while leaving the band, the musicians and the backline fully visible. Since 2024 the Curtain-Z has been a permanent part of the show – built up in minutes, robust, lightweight and truck-transportable.

Mobile, ready in minutes and an instant eye-catcher: the WALED LED trailers bring large-format LED surfaces to any location. Whether on a busy city square in front of the Königsgalerie in Duisburg, as a highlight in front of the Theater am Marientor, or paired with a large outdoor stage – where we dress the stage backdrop with our Aura Stage series as a brilliant LED background. Weatherproof, ultra-bright and razor-sharp: ideal for promotion, public viewing, trade shows and events.

Bespoke 3D LED letter “X” for ZDF

For ZDF – realised via the Bartenbach systems house in Mainz – WALED built a very special custom unit: a three-dimensional letter in the shape of the “X” from the flagship programme Terra X. Designed as a semi-mobile unit, it is built for trade shows, conferences and TV use. The technical finesse is in the detail: pixel-perfect, borderless LED modules combined with an extremely flat build that simultaneously houses the complete technology and the structural support required for the 2,600 × 2,600 mm construction. Finished in a custom RAL colour – the finishing touch on a fully bespoke solution.

Custom outdoor LED wall in the new visitor reception centre

At Obermann Logistik in the Harz region, WALED Videowalls planned and realised an outdoor LED wall together with the new visitor reception centre – a genuine custom build. Due to the special dimensions of 3,200 × 2,150 mm, the outdoor wall was individually engineered rather than drawn from a standard series. Integrated directly into the façade of the reception building, it welcomes visitors and customers with information, check-in guidance and brilliant content that stays clearly legible even in sunlight. From installing the final module to the finished screen, the result is a representative solution that perfectly complements the modern reception centre.

Conference Ratio Full-HD LED wall in the parliamentary group area

For the SPD parliamentary group at the State Parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia in Düsseldorf, WALED Videowalls realised a Conference Ratio LED wall. At 3.60 m × 2.025 m, the fine-pitch Conference Ratio series delivers razor-sharp Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels, 1.875 mm pixel pitch) – ideal for presentations, live images and media content in the group area. From the final module to the finished image, the time-lapse shows the precise installation and calibration by our team. As the wall is used for the group's press statements, it is likely to appear on television soon – for which it is particularly well suited thanks to its high refresh rate: camera footage stays free of flicker and scan lines.

WALED Videowalls equipped the façade of the Theater am Marientor in Duisburg with a state-of-the-art outdoor LED installation. Across roughly 100 m², our Signature 960 outdoor series delivers ultra-bright, brilliant image quality – even in direct sunlight. The curved structure was precisely matched to the architecture and, thanks to robust IP-rated modules, is built for reliable continuous outdoor operation. This project sets new standards for large-format LED solutions and turns the theatre into a visual highlight of the cityscape.

For Piron Metallbau Kleve, WALED Videowalls realised an impressive outdoor advertising pylon with a total area of 64 m² of LED. Split into two 32 m² screens, our Signature 960 outdoor series delivers razor-sharp imagery, extreme brightness and brilliant colours – perfectly visible at all times, even in direct sunlight. The robust, IP-rated construction is optimised for continuous outdoor operation and seamlessly integrated into the pylon design. With this installation, Piron Metallbau sets new standards in large-format outdoor advertising and urban brand presence.

Splittable, laterally movable LED stage wall (Aura Stage series)

At the Steinhof Duisburg, WALED realised an indoor LED stage wall of the Aura Stage series: 6,000 × 3,000 mm, splittable in the centre into 2 × 3,000 × 3,000 mm screens that move laterally on purpose-built special rails. Implemented on a bespoke special substructure – including our own technical planning and complete realisation. Depending on the event, the wall transforms from a continuous large image into a split stage, creating maximum flexibility for events, stage shows and conferences. The footage shows the project in real impressions – from installation to the live event.

DOOH advertising pylon with Skyline 960 elements, 3 × 2 cabinets

For the Steinhof Duisburg, WALED erected an outdoor advertising pylon: fitted with Skyline 960 × 960 elements in 3 × 2 cabinets (width × height), on a pylon with a custom-engineered foundation. From the building application and complete technical planning to the connection with the client-managed playback system – all from a single source. The construction phases, from laying the foundation and crane installation to the finished, glowing pylon, show the project in real impressions. On request, we also realise pylons as a hire-purchase or usage concept at attractive DOOH locations in the NRW region.

Power screen for south-facing performance

For Raumdesign Dommers, a premium outdoor system with a WALED Signature Skyline LED screen was realised. Measuring 6 × 3 metres and reaching up to 8,000 nits on demand, it remains perfectly legible even in direct south-facing sunlight. The system is run independently via the Novastar Taurus platform. With intuitive control, automatic brightness adjustment via light sensors and reliable 24/7 operation, the installation offers maximum flexibility and operational safety – a real eye-catcher on the street with Signature quality by WALED.

For the management consultancy valantic in Cologne, WALED Videowalls realised an ultra-flat LED screen from the Conference Ratio series. One megascreen replaces six displays

In the well-known sports bar The Fan, a 2 × 3.5 metre LED megascreen was installed in the large interior – for the live broadcast of all kinds of sporting events, perfectly suited to a high-traffic sports venue. The powerful screen completely replaces six previously used large displays and provides a uniform, large-format image with significantly improved visibility from every part of the room. With high brightness, strong contrast and fluid motion, guests now experience games and highlights centrally, emotionally and without visual interruptions – a lasting upgrade of the entire venue in the heart of Magdeburg.
